The Easter Vigil was beautiful and a lot of fun, to boot!
Annie made a beautiful crown of thorns for our cross for last night's Good Friday liturgy.
Deacon Rob Izzi led us through URI campus as we shared the Stations of the Cross, which he wrote while studying to become a deacon. A beautiful liturgy. We were glad that the rain held off!
Yesterday the clergy of the diocese, along with the Lutheran clergy, gathered for the annual Renewal of Ordination vows, and blessing of the oils for baptism and healing. St. Luke's Pawtucket hosted us. Jan was of course on the altar with our bishop. It was a beatiful gathering.
The Rhody Rhapsodies gave their Spring Concert this afternoon on campus. They were fabulous, as usual!

Food we collected over Lent-for school vacation week, in partnership with URI's Transition Center and the Child Development Center, and a more general food collection was delivered to the Johnnycake Center in Wakefield today. Before delivery, we sat with one of the classes at the CDC, and talked with the young people about how wonderful it was to partner with them. All told, we gathered around 450 pounds of food. Well done, everyone!
The Rev. Noel Bailey is exhibiting some of her nature photography in Canterbury Hall, and today was the opening. Please come take a look at her beautiful photos.
Student leaders from Hillel and friends of Hillel led a Holocaust Remembrance Vigil in front of the Multi-Cultural Center today at lunchtime.

We had a lovely Quiet Day this afternoon, which included time outside on this sunny glorious Spring day!
